Has anyone found a source for the rear targa top bushing in black? Several vendors have them but they are white and would stand out like a sore thumb. Probably easy to make on a lathe but don't want to go to the trouble if they can be had somewhere.

Can you post a photograph? Might be able to help, as I presume huge quantities are not req.

Here is the NOS bushing next to a used bushing. It is just a pressed in bushing with the end a little swollen to hold it in place. Similar to the frame bushing for the emergency brake cable.
It is a semi-hard plastic like the polyurethane suspension bushings.

Does indeed like it would be an easy part to turn out of Delrin(tm). Or I could make a mold & cast it out of hard polyurethane.

Could you send me a picture of the part that is inserted into it so I can get a better idea as to how they fit together?

Could I borrow your NOS one to get dimensions from & to use as a mold pattern?
Something small like that I can get right onto & get it back to you in 2 weeks or less.

I will send you the part and a piece of metal the same thickness and with the same size hole in it as on the car and you should have the whole set up to play with.
