Does anyone have a good source for getting replacement glass / mirror for your interior rear view mirrors. I am restoring mine and would like to replace the glass and mirror in the process.

I am also looking for chrome bezel or finished nuts for the wipers stems (that hold it to the body) if anyone has any thoughts. Thanks, Andrew

Just saw this. Superformance has the wiper nuts I believe, and any decent auto glass place should be able to cut you a replacement mirror piece.

IT sits under a piece of glass, and is spring loaded from behind to make the day/night function work. IT also has a gasket in the fram, which will go to pieces when you take it apart. Some black silicone with substitute nicely when you go to put it back together.

Problem is, I haven't figured out how to take apart the RV mirror in my 330 without damaging it. It's in excellent shape but the glass is spotted and discolored and needs replacing.

If you post close up pictures of the sides where the top plate meets the body and the back, I can give you some suggestions. Or email them to me. I have taken several Vitaloni mirrors apart without any problem. Order a good set of nylon or plastic interior panel removing tools from Eastwood as they work well for separating the parts without leaving any marks. I use them all the time to remove all sorts of things on my cars. Andrew

I took very small flat head screwdrivers, dipped the tips in rubber grip stuff, (buy a can at the local harware store, it's for re-gripping pliers and stuff like that) let it harden, then use them to pry stuff open when I don't want to mar or scratch the finish.

I'm assuming this mirror is not too dissimilar from mine. Two pieces, a front frame and case, that are held together by friction, with two pry points on each side to get them apart.
