My rear view mirror on my '86 3.2 Cab has a lot of vibration through all the gears and speeds. Is this a typical issue with this because it is a Cab? The car does have a lot of twist in the body in corners which is expected with convertibles, but is more than my '97 Porsche 993 Carrera Cab. Just wondering..........

My 92T Cab has no problem like that. Is it mounted super strong? Can you wiggle it at all when not moving?

My car had exactly the same problem. I found it would stop when you turn the engine off.

I've never known mine to vibrate. Sounds like yours is a bit loosey-goosey, just need to be tighten I would think.

Mine was floppy and loose. I ended up removing it from the windshield and there was a loose screw within the unit. But mine didn't vibrate, it was floppy. Now it's great.
