    Pin on the sim is great advice, few know how to, but my Verizon phones come with them enabled, but best to change from the default of 1111

    Do not put anything in the cloud you cannot afford to lose, or cannot afford to have fall into enemy hands.

    I keep stuff on a second internal disk, an external HD, burned to a DVD, and also on a USB stick.
    Overkill?
    Maybe, unless you lose two of these.
    Once you backup to an external HD, ALWAYS disconnect it from your PC, ALWAYS.

    I had a power supply short out, it took out the Mobo, one internal HD and the VC.
    It didn't take out the second internal HD, thank God, I have a macro that copies stuff
    from HD1 to HD2... this was almost 20 years ago.

    If I lose it I'm screwed, I could never rewrite it,
