Last year a local hydraulic shop attempted to repair one of my oil lines for my 348 with limited success. They are used to dealing with much larger hoses and nothing that is metric. Now it looks like three of them need to be repaired. The fittings seem to be okay. I just need to get new braid lines. Does anyone know of a good place to get the oil cooling lines rebuilt? For reference, the lines are identified below (141819, 141820, 141821).

Thanks for any help you can provide, Craig

I don’t know if you have them in Canada, but when I lived in UK I used a company called Pirtek to make a transmission oil cooler line and one of the engine oil hoses for my 355.

For the transmission line they had the metric size fittings, and for the engine oil line they re-used the original banjos.

That was more than 15 years ago and the hoses are still in perfect shape.

So, I recommend Pirtek, and if you don’t have a Pirtek then any outfit that makes hydraulic lines for plant machinery, eg. diggers, earth movers, cranes, fork trucks etc. they will be able to make whatever you need with high spec hoses.

As an added bonus, the cost was a tenth of the Ferrari price.

Thanks for the lead. The UK is definitely more "metric friendly" than over on this side of the pond.

used them a couple of times for fuel hoses and oil pipes on my 348. cost a fraction of anyone even remotely related to ferrari!

not sure how easy to deal with from canada though. guess a bit more searching for local equivalent!

Two places in Bay Area if you want to send them over. They have done good work for me.
