The Ferrari Driving Experience isn't a racing school per se; instead, the course aims to teach Ferrari owners how to better enjoy the performance of their purebred machines. Ownership is not just preffered, each attendant is required to have at least one Ferrari and pay an entrance fee of $8500. It has only been offered outside of Italy for a couple of years. Has anyone ever attended this?

A friend that did it said not enough seat time and it's pretty tame. He said he wouldn't do it again, FWIW. Probably better to dump your money on another racing school course or if you've got an F-car and the itch, just hit a track day.(and save yourself probably $12+ G's in the process)

If I was planning to do it I'd want to do it over at Fiorano to get more of the Italian, F-experience.

Is that $8500 USD? Is this considered a reasonable cost for an HPDS?

Aren't these usually offered in conjunction with some pretty fancy accomodations?

So that's really a total weekend you are talking about, including lodging, and the other perks.....

I'm comparing it say to the FFQC in New Orleans which is comparable at 2,250 per person so you blow about 5 grand per couple........but it's worth it! LOL!

There you go......it's a 'experience' vs. 'driving school'...so just know that going in.....

It makes New Orleans seem like a VALUE! LOL!

I think the stuff Ferrari put on in California last spring, was similar in price......
