Along with a renewal for 2008. I also got my renewal form today for the 2008 Daytona 500. Let's see, 4 S/F line seats for the USGP, $600. Four S/F line seats for the Daytona 500, Busch, IROC, Gatorade Twins, $2600. I may have to stop going to the Daytona 500.
Got mine a few weeks ago, Stand J, right at the end of the fastest straight in F1, and a great view of the rest of the first turns, plus giant screen in middle of complex. But the grassy knoll is for practice
I sat there last year and hated it. Make sure you got a seat way at the end of the straight, which is what I should have done. I was way far away and couldn't see the turns or get any good pics, but I wasn't anywhere near the very end the straight. If you got a good seat in Stand J, you'll love it. -John
How cool would it be for them to have an observation tower in the middle of the track so you could see everything during the race.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that you can see just about everything from the Tower Terrace. Seats are available there, too.
I just looked at the map, the Tower Terrace is above the paddocks, is it the bigger tower or just the grandstands? If the big tower thingy is available, that looks like a sweet view. PS Thats the first attachment, Image Unavailable, Please Login
got all four of mine today. sec H and my parking pass. i'll be bringing the car this year. i'll be parking it in the car corral thurs, fri and sat. probaly park on the legion lot race day. i'm trying to get hooked up for the fca cruise to the circle on friday nite. is it too soon to start planning our annual soire'?
Tower Terrace is not in the glass tower if you are looking at the tower from the outside rail of the track the tower terrace to the stands to the left.
they have that f1 paddock club. 3 day ticket $3900. there also is the 3 day tower terrace suite for $1025. call the ticket office.
How do you get your car into the car corral on Friday & Saturday? I have regular parking passes and don't want to leave my car out there in the open. Also, can someone tell me where the American Legion parking lot is? Also, one thing to keep in mind about seating, last year was extremely hot and sitting on the inside track near the pole is directly in the sun for the entire race. I'm sitting opposite the pits under the overhang. Also, does anyone know where the Ferrai Club meets at the track? Thanks,
Does anyone have a link to a seating chart? My tickets came in today and were not on my list of preferred seats. I hope they upgraded me!!! Thanks Jon in Delaware

call the ticket office and the nice ladies there will hook you up for the corral. be advised it's a long walk to your seats from there. the legion lot is on georgetown halfway down the track. i think it's where you walk over a little bridge from lot 2. $20 a day first come. see you there.
Off to the photo right is where the pit crews are waiting for the champagne. Its a clear drop at that location.
I remember that, and how relieved everyone was when the Ferrari boys caught. If I remember correctly, Renault dropped the bottle last year, didn't they?
COMPLETELY SHATTERED IT (it was china actually though) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_puOddIq_4 , the designated champagne catcher for Ferrari gets a huge cheer after the catch.
Go to the stands 30 ft. north of the podium for a treat Fri/Sat. It's the pit out speed limit and it is as close as you can get to the cars running.
Michael is right about this. Even on race day, it is like a drag race after the pit limiter is off. The acceleration to turn one is absolutely amazing, worth the price of admission.
Agreed 100%, shhh...let's keep this a secret! I think the the line-up of the final 10 cars at pit-out just prior to the start of Q3 has to be seen/felt/heard to be believed. I think it's better than the actual race start due to the fact the you are so close. Heaven.
