Recent article in Forza discusses the origin of Capristo

    In discussing the supercharged 360 the writer marvels at the workmanship of the exhaust. Here is what he writes;

    "Consider the stainless steel exhaust: It looks amazing from the equal length mandrel-bent manifolds to the round edged silencer. Even the welded joints are perfect, which leads you to imagine the system was made by a Formula One supplier---but that's definately not the case.

    In fact, the exhaust is made by an Italian firm called Capristo, which specializes in metal work for engineering companies. They are not in the auto exhaust business at all. It just so happens the owner has a few Ferraris and made an exhaust system for his own car."

    Maybe someone should tell him they apparently are in fact in the exhaust system business.

    It was my understanding they were manufactured in Germany?
