Does anyone know if it's possible to recess a 355 fender to accomodate the factory shields? Has anyone ever done this before? I've heard that it can be done, but I'm not sure what the procedure, quality, and costs are....any info would be great! Does the whole fender have to be repainted?

I'm pretty sure a good bodywork man could beat in the indentations, and you can buy the enamel shields from Ferrari. I've heard of it being done but it is expensive in the UK. Many just by high-quality adhesive ones which look OK, and cost about $15!

Isnt there a guy on this forum that makes them, they are half the thickness so can sit on top on the wing.I am quite sure of it. Do a search for the thread that was on here a few months ago.
