I am contemplating buying an unfinished house out east...
Builder is in distress...house is not finished, no kitchen , baths and such..

I love the old patina that 100 year old wood has. Old floors are so chic..
Anyone know companies that specialize in reclaimed wood furniture, Kitchens or even salvaged and reworked cabinetry...???

Nothing beats old dense white oak floors with a natural finish.

These pics came from Houzz.com. We built a kitchen using reclaimed lumber for the cabinets and floors. It looked a bit over done. We also built islands and select pieces from reclaimed material. This seemed to be the correct combination. Reclaimed flooring is expensive and there are suppliers in you area. A local cabinet maker should be able to build what you want. If I was closer I would build them. Good luck.
