    hi,
    I am in the Detriot area, and looking to have the 3M clear shield put on my car. Who is the best at it, the local dealer, or an independent?

    In my experience BillN, the "independants" -are- who the dealers use, except then they mark it UP.

    Guess my favo 3M installer, Bob Reid ( CGM, in 8 MI/Orchard Lake area F'ton Hills) has closed his shop. Rats.

    Get a quote from Larry Millen, 734-259-0021, PaintProtectionPlus LLC out of Plymouth. Met him, I have not seen his work.

    Good luck! After 5 years of install of my 3M clear bra it still looks/works great.
