We are headed to Deer Valley for skiing in a couple of weeks, and I'd love to hear some good restaurant recommendations in the Park City area. Does not necessarily have to be five-star fine dining, we like grungy local joints just as much (probably more actually). Thanks!

+100 on the no name saloon. Main Street park city
Also a place in the plaza area of the Canyons ski mountain resort called Drifts. Just park down below near the Gondola base and take the open air Gondola from the parking lot. It's free. Exit Gondola and turn left thru plaza to the Drifts. Great view of the mountain and heated outdoor glass enclosed patio dining.

Excellent suggestions so far guys, thanks! I've looked up the menus for all of them and they all look fantastic. The Drifts idea got me thinking....are there any other "on mountain" dining options that are worthwhile? My wife's mom is going with us, and she doesn't ski, but would enjoy a ride up the mountain on a chairlift or gondola. I've seen some stuff on some kind of Viking yurt deal where they take you up park city mountain in a snow cat, but haven't noticed anything else.

probably too late for this party-- but put it on your list for next time--High West Distillery is my absolute favorite. stopped taking reservations this season, but worth the wait.

also found a great, cheap, quirky greek place called Nick's--i say quirky cause you can get a gyro, an asian noodle bowl or gourmet hot dogs--
