Recommendation for a floor jack (what min. height and tonnage) I am looking for a recommendation for a floor jack for a 2008 Ferrari Scuderia . I would also like to use the jack for my other cars if possible. (Mercedes s-class and a Range Rover Full Size). Really going to be used to remove a wheel when you have a flat tire etc..... but one wheel at a time. Do they make a jack that can do various types of car / trucks ???
Arcan XL30R 3T low profile jack from Costco and a hockey puck spacer to lift the whole side of the car. They also so a 2.5T aluminium version which is a lot lighter! Both are perfect for the cars you have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
thanks I am NOT a Costco member, there is a Harbor Fright down the street from my office and they sell the Pittsburgh brand
Don't get the 1.5 ton aluminum racing jack (I have it and it flexs more than I like). I'd suggest a heavier one.
I'm sure they must sell them elsewhere. A really stable platform.... Here is mine, in use right now Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I love this jack AC Jacks - Automotive Floor Jacks, Jack Stands, and Accessories - ACJACKS.com I have the DK20Q model. Its nice and low so no problem getting it under the 360 or my S2000. It will get my GMC truck off the ground high enough to get a wheel off but barely, the wheel is not more than a inch off the ground on my truck, their longer DK13HLQ would be my choice given the cars that you have. I didn't have the GMC when I bought my jack or I would have considered the longer jack as that will raise the truck quite high and still fit under the Ferrari (Probably would have stayed with the one i got though)

I purchased the 3 ton (low profile) steel Harbor Freight jack and love it. It is kind of heavy, but for $89 it works well on all my vehicles (360, Gran Turismo, F 250 with 6 inch lift and 125 lb tires and rims (I use large wood blocks to lift the jack to the correct height).
The one from Costco is a good one, especially at the price. Find a friend who has a membership there and snag one.
