I am looking to replace my stock 355 spider seats, due to upholstery costs. Any recommendations for aftermarket seats, sparco, recaro, etc...

    Thanks for your help

You could try OMP Challenge seats, used that you get recovered in the same material. It's not leather but it sure looks nice. Alternatively you could cover them in leather. Not sure of the cost, I think Plugzit had his done. You will save alot of miney on this and weight. However, you might not fit in those tight buckets. I'm just sayin'...

The problem with 355 spider seats is that the seat belt is integrated into the seat. Unless you can find another alternative or solution to attach the seat belts, you are pretty much stuck ...

I'd recommend you check with the site sponsor BRADAN. They reupholstered my 308 seats with custom leather for a very reasonable price. the seats came out exceptionally well and just like OEM. Cheaper than buying GAH seat covers & getting them installed.

Just so you have a comparison, the previous owner of my 355 redid the seats this past January just before selling the car. The work was done at Markel's on Robertson in LA. Cost was $3,200 to reupholster both seats in OME matching Connoly leather and the die the door panels, dash and rear leather to match the new.

I got one on eBay. They appear there or Craigslist periodically. And yes, the stock seat belt arrangement isn't going to work, so just honk some harnesses in there.

Are you happy with the new leather? I grew up near the shop. I'll go over for an estimate,
    Thanks

They look good to me. You are welcome to look at them if you like. You are also welcome to a copy of my invoice in case they quote you higher. I may be driving the car in West LA on Friday or I'm in Sherman Oaks on the weekend.

Mel, were you at Vince's? It was the red spider parked behind the blue one in the driveway.
