Hi - I'm looking for recommendations on where to go for mounting and balancing new tires on a 360. Preferably in the loop.
Any good stories - horror stories?
    Thanks
    Frank

Are you also buying new tires or just having tires you bought somewhere else mounted and balanced?

I use the Discount Tire at 18th and Ella for all of my tire work. Even though it's a regular tire store, they are very attentive and have done good work for me for the last 5 years.

Either. My first thought was to get something through Tire Rack or even Costco....but I don't trust them with mounting, balancing and removing/installing wheel nuts without messing something up. Its amazing how many 'tire dealers' around here do not know how to use a tire pressure guage, torque wrench or impact wrench.

    Cheers

I use discount tire near where I work but buy the tires from them. I also just bring them my wheels off the car and let them mount and balance the new tires.

If you buy from Tire Rack they have a list of installers they recommend in the area. You have better selection with Tire Rack but then you pay for the mounting and balancing.

There is a Goodyear franchise store, downtown next to Houston House.

I have use the Goodyear on 290W and Mangum forever too.....
    Goodyear knows tires.

For Pirelli maybe the Big Tire Store would be better...most of them are the same.

NTB is blacklisted, after $500 in damage to the Battery Enclosure on the Turbo S Beetle..LOL!

The guys who REALLY give me personalized service (they handle our whole Fleet of trucks/van) is a tiny shop on North Shepherd.....Yale Tire.

    Bear Alignment machine, 4 wheel.

They will order me any tire made and sold in America, ;price it right...and open 'till 2PM on Saturdays, usually.

The two guys working, they own the place,.....:D :D :D
