    Looking at buying an old (i.e., pre-OBDII) - 1990s - Toyota in the next year or so if I can find the right example.

    Any recommendations for a mechanic that specializes in old Toyotas. North Dallas suburbs preferred. But, I'm willing to travel further for good service.

    Texas Toyota (Grapevine) was 10 out of 10 a decade ago, now still pretty good, but a little long in the teeth. Great service department and lounge. Sales people are always hit or miss. I usually prefer dealing with their online sales team before going in.

    Thanks. Have a good relationship with our Toyota dealer. Service manager says they can do routine stuff on old cars, so looking for options if I ever need anything involved...T
