Recommendations for Paint & Body Repair in NJ

    I recently inherited my father’s 308. The car is well loved and while it’s mechanically sound (just had a whole overhaul), the paint is tired and there is some normal wear and tear that needs fixing. So, my hope for the winter/early spring is to get the body work done and the car repainted. I’m located in Millburn NJ, so I was hoping the forum might have some recommendations for a shop in the surrounding area that does good paint and body work (something that will be driven and enjoyed - not shown!).

    I have not personally used them for this, but have been to their shop and know others who have used them and seen the results. Exoticars in Frenchtown looks like an excellent choice, you can visit them and see their operation, it's top notch.

    Classic Coach Repair in Elizabeth, they restore many vintage Ferraris while doing body work and routine service. If you're interested, PM and I can introduce you to the owner, Onofrio, a personal friend of mine and also am a client of his at his Florida dealerships.

    I’d head to Paterek’s in Chatham and get a recommendation from him. (BTW my kids are 4th generation Millburn).
