My father in-law is looking at possibly buying a Ferrari.

Who around Raleigh can look the car over before he buys it.

    Thanks!

he said the raleigh area thus i would think sport auto a bit too far away.

i would have peter kraus of kraus and england (in raleigh) look at the car. peter is superb and as i have said before...anyone who looks after such exotic alloy as a 12 cyl formula 1 alfa romeo (among others) is clearly able to make recommendations on any road going ferrari or lambo!!! you leave NOTHING on the table by having peter do your pre-purchase inspection!!!

if you were closer to greensboro i too would have tom jones @ sport auto look at the car.

    best,

    pcb

p.s. i see peter has changed the name of the business...apex vintage it is then!!!!!!

I sold my business to Cecil Boyd, an vintage racing and formula car enthusiast, in July. I have formed an automotive consultancy called Krause & Associates, LLC.

I can go to the car and perform a pre-purchase inspection if the guys at Apex can't schedule it soon.

While I'm out of the Ferrari repair business, I still know what I'm looking at! <grin>

Doc, we've talked about it in threads that you had posted in, I just don't think you ever got back to read them. I've been up there since the change over and it isn't the same without Peter.

That's nice of you, Eric! <grin>

They do have the machine I always wanted to buy, though... Now they can do F1 clutch set-ups and set cam timing via the sensors on the late cars.

Rod and Terry are terrific. A great local resource.

I worked with Terry on and off for twenty years and with Rod for twelve.

Both really good guys, but there ain't any Krause & England anymore.

Doc, Pete, check out my page. I don't miss it and I'm having a lot more fun!
