Looking for Bay Area auto insurance on a new Roma Spider arriving Summer 2025.

Any favorite insurers and insurance agents?

My 911 is on Safeco, who won't cover Ferrari.

Grundy's application form says they require at least 3 cars, which I don't have.

Chubb's website lists 4 local SF agents that appear out of business or have poor reviews.

Waiting on a reply from Hagerty.

Try Geico, they used to not insure Ferrari's, but they just wrote a policy on my 812GTS.

I use Rob O'niel of Hot Rod Insurance in San Mateo, CA. He does most of the big collectors in our area. 650-906-7206 Tell him Red Fred sent you.

@redfred84 Unfortunately, it looks like Hot Rod Insurance doesn't cover my daily driver scenario. Thanks for sharing the tip, though!

Does anyone have a recommended silicon valley broker/agent for Chubb?

Why does it matter where your Chubb agent resides? Mine is on the east coast and it works just fine.

    Good point, @HMB-Dino!

I assumed I'd work with a local insurance agent, but don't need to

I've heard good things about Hagerty and Grundy.
