    Hi,

Does anyone recommend any Ferrari specialists or Garages in the South of France area out of personal experience?

The car is in Cannes but I am flexible to travel around the area for a good specialist with reasonable prices.

Thank you for the recommendation! I have a 2004 612 that needs a new clutch and some suspension / brakes servicing. I found ARS on the internet and they seem experienced with Ferraris. Do you think there will be a big price difference between ARS and the official Ferrari dealers (SF and and Cavallari) or they will be similar?

    Hello, I also have a 612 Scaglietti 2006 .
Find out if ARS Classic also works on more recent Ferraris, the contacts I had with them were for older Maserari at a more democratic price.

The dealer price will be 8-10k euro as depending on how many other parts are needed (flywheel, etc).

SF Cote de Azur is owned by the same company that owns SF grand est who changed my clutch a few months ago.

Hi, I contacted ARS and as you said he said that they are specialised in classic cars and that its difficult to give a financial quotation for a modern car. Did you ever change the clutch on your 612?

Thats correct. They quoted me 17k Euros in total for clutch replacement + Front Brake Disc Replacement + Front Shock Absorbers replacement. I am new to Ferrari ownership and the car is based at a secondary summer home so I was wondering if the job would cost significantly less at an independent Ferrari specialist but it seems there aren't much options in the South of France. what do you think?

Yes, I've just replaced the clutch with my specialist, about 10k €.
Prefer the Hill Engineering bearing CRB-575F1-612F1S if possible

I quite like the guys at the Monaco service, but you're definitely not getting a break on costs.

The dealer labor rate varies between 125-150 euros/hour depending on the location (Paris being the highest) and parts prices are similar across all the service providers in my experience.

In your case, you might save some money from getting the shocks rebuilt rather than buying new.

Well based on what I am seeing I think I will end up doing the work at SF Cote D'Azur (the Ferrari dealer in Cannes) since its all within the same range.
