    I got some new Scuderia Shields for Christmas and want to put them on the car. I don't like the double sided tape that came with them since it is over an 1/8" thick and I don't think it will look very good sticking out that far. Does anyone have a recommended source for the tape and what thickness should it be?

    I went to home depot and purchased a nice thin double sided tape made by 3M. Sorry, but I don't remember the exact thickness, but it was easy to find and worked great.

    I sell Scuderia Shields and use the same 3M tape. You may also want to consider using epoxy.

    No, at a Body Shop supply you'll find 3M Emblem Adhesive in sheets, it's less than 1/16" think to disappear behind the emblem..

    Try that.......real stuff.....

    I did a search online and all I can find is 2" x 12" strips. DO they make full sheets?

    Hmmmmm...maybe not.

    Most emblems would be smaller.....that's the stuff though, it's peel and stick and easily trimmable, no reason two strips edge to edge won't work...

    It would be neater than the epoxy, IMO....

    I just cut strips of the 3M tape, worked great!

    Go to Autozone. They sell small rolls of double-sided 1mm 3M moulding tape for about $10. Used it for my shields, and they've been hanging on strong and without issue for over a year.
