    the seats of my new 308gt4 were in not great shape; the leather bolsters of both front seats were hard as cardboard; there was moderate discoloring from wear on the bottoms of all four upper bolsters and the back of the bottom bosters (basically where driver and passenger get into the car)( sorry don't have "before" pictures)
    based on a review mentioned in this site I bought the leatherique dye kit; got it on friday;
    friday night put the rejuvenator stuff on the seats;
    saturday noticed that it was alittle better and some of the color came back alittle;

    sunday attacked it in earnest; based on a comment from the site; skipped a second application of rejuvenathator and went right to dye prep; which is wet sanding with the prep agent; that made a big difference in the seat bolster; afterwards they were all very soft; big improvement;
    then I swabbed on alot of rejuvenator, let it dry (with the help of a a hair dryer) then step two which is pristine cleaner to get rid of some dirt and old dye. Then I used a small brush and put on the dye on the bosters. it looks pretty good now. I'll live with it for awhile and see if it needs another applicaation. The key for me was not slopping on the dye. did a couple of very thin coats.
    I also had a quarter sized hold in the driver bolster. My upoldstry guy was alittle afraid to take the seat cover off because the leather was so hard. so he called his vinyl repair guy who said that the fix he could do would only be temporary. the hell with them; I got a piece of connelly leather and with the scratch repair material from leatherique, I fixed it myself (actually I had my daugther do it; it took her an hour or two); It didn't come out great; but it's better than it was, no whole, just kind of like a growth on the bolster; but it's black anyway.

    all in all the leatherique products are terrific. easy to use and very effective; it made a big difference in my interior. before it was worn and tired, now it's, well see for yourself.

    (and this from a guy with two left hands, unmechanical and can't draw a straight line to save my life.) In short, highly recommended.
