    Please excuse my zealousness but I just reconnected with THE BEST FRIEND I have ever had in my life and it has been about 22yr's since we have spoken (life's paths and all). She is now a pastor and now I am in law enforcement and those paths are definitely not what either one of us expected but it must have been destiny? I just had to share and hopefully others can share their story of rekindled, long past but not forgotten connection's.

    I just had lunch with an old high school classmate last week. We graduated in '84 from a school in Wisconsin. Never thought I'd see anyone from there in my neck of the woods.
    Funny how life's paths leads us.

    You and I graduated about the same year so yes after many years and miles it is great to reconnect with some of those from our past especially the good ones.

    My wife invited my best friend when I was in the Navy in the 70s who I had not seen in over 20 years to my 40th birthday party. That was over 14 years ago and we have since seen each other regularly, gone on family Caribbean trips together and more. We reconnected like it had only been a few weeks.

    Very cool for you indeed congrats. Thats what is so enjoyable about reconnecting with old and dear friends as you can pickup again like it has only been a few days or weeks since you last spoke. I'm hoping Kim and I can meet up soon.
