    He is absolutely right, and with the recording equipment available today it would be very easy to make amazing sounding records from home. Alterbridge's album was done at home. You can get mass produced cd's for cheap, you can get put on Itunes yourself, etc. It's very easy to market yourself these days. Also, you can sign up with the Harry Fox agency in LA and they'll trace all your plays, etc keeping track of your owed royalties. They're very good at what they do :)

    It's a new era in the music business and artists need to break ground. It's been going on for a while now but has yet to fully catch on.

    LOL... my buddies in high school who had a garage band, had a song called "Dick Dale is a *****."

    I never knew why they had such disdain for the guy, or at that time, who Dick Dale even was...
