    Hey gang,

"Francesca" is in the ER so I am using the time while she's up on jack stands to attend to a few niggling items that always bugged me. Here's my list so far:

    1. Re-leathering the door cards
    2. Recovering bubbling airbag cover/re-glueing dash in places
    3. Sending out switchgear to StickyNoMore
    4. Having tonneau cover lining replaced (no more green fairy dust!)
    5. Ordering/installing CF door sils (and hopefully sill inserts)
    6. Removing carpeted piece on door cards and replacing with leather panel with perforations for stereo speakers

Here's a list of "wants" that I hope I can get to if there's anything left in the budget.

    7. SRI Gold connector kit
    8. Fabspeed CF airboxes and silicon hoses
    9. Hill Engineering billet racing pedals (PS01HT model)
    10. Replacing spider top

First, any advice/feedback on the last 4 mods? Second, any items not included here that you would do? (assume I already did headers, exhaust, major, new tires, new hood shocks, and carpets)

Third, and finally, any recommendations on a shop local to me in No California to have my spider top replaced? I have a Swatters Blue/Tan spider but a black top, which is not correct, IMO. It really should have a blue top. I found a used one in pretty good shape for $400-ish and thought it might be worth swapping the top now. What should I budget for the labor in having it done and what is a good shop in my area?

    Thanks all.

On the SRI Gold Kit. After installing this on my 355 over the winter I would advise to be very very careful with who you let install this. Short of Dave Helms himself I don't think any installer would be as carefull with the install as the owner of a 355 himself. This is a very detailed laborous process. I could easily see any shop getting paid to do this rushing through the job. There are many details that you would never know if they were followed to a tee or not unless you did them yourself (or Dave did them).

There are many shops out there that could do it correctly, and would, but you just would know.

Agreed. I should have been more clear in stating that I had every intention of installing the Gold Kit myself, even if it takes me a few consecutive weekends to do everything. I've been told about the laborious nature of the project and how one has to be very detail oriented.
