Does Vance S. live around there? I met him and his 550 Barchetta at the FFQC, I remember him saying he had a couple of cars.

It was being driven by a 20's-30's male caucasian at a high rate of speed. I followed him off I-40 at West End. He went west and turned left on Bowling and I lost him.

He was flying down West End and took a risky left turn onto Bowling after the light had turned red so I couldn't find out who it was.

Hey Bart, welcome to Ferrarichat. I remember seeing your pics of your 360 and previous 355 on your website 2 years or so ago.

What do you think of the general theory:

Trial lawyer = Ferrari (esp. PI)

    Corporate lawyer = Porsche

Obviously there are a few exceptions, but overwhelmingly the Ferrari guys are smaller firm trial guys. During the past interview season I mentioned my CF business on my resume, and a ton of the corporate guys said they had or prefer Porsches. Not one said they had a Ferrari (and I met a *ton* of recruiters and other schmoozing lawyers).

I think if you had to generalize you could say entrepreneurs and risk takers like Ferraris. I see that mind set at Ferrari meets.

I once read the demographic of the AVERAGE Ferrari NEW car buyer is in late young adulthood or early middle age, owns his or her own business, has twenty or more employees, and an income of over a half a million dollars a year.

When I was regional director that was the pitch the planners of annual convention made to the city fathers in Dallas and Los Angeles

Steve O'Briend in Nashville was active in the Porsche club and then the Ferrari club and he thought the Porsche guys were usually older, more conservative and he had more fun with us. Establishment types like Porsches and they seem to get into the engineering a lot.

    Interesting...

Very interesting analysis. As a generalization, I would tend to agree with you.
