    Forgot about this but found it flipping around on Direct TV 618. Anyone going to Texas or Las Vegas? Just thinking, no comparison to Croatia as it is beautiful or any of the harbors for that matter, but I would think the Motor Speed Ways may offer better viewing of the actual race.

    I'm not sure how it will work out. I liked all the bay and canyon races before they took a hiatus. I'm having a hard time picturing it for Texas Motor Speedway. The entire oval is surrounded by stands, tall lights, and even some sky rise buildings.

    It appears to be a big facility, we flew over it in a rented SR20 as we toured the Grand Canyon. Something everyone should do while they are out there. Flew out of North Las Vegas.

    I am planning on going to the TMS event since it is local for me. It will be interesting to see how they set it up.
