I do agree on that, Chapman and especially Enzo are a step above. That said Dietrich's investment into the sport have been significant and far more than anyone has done since Enzo. Yes it's been done using his cheque book mostly, but that still counts for quite a bit, especially how he went about it. A lot of sponsors come in, accomplish their goal (exposure) and then leave. RB was a significant sponsor of Sauber for a long time, the initial deal alone meant that Sauber could keep it's head above water after Mercedes left in 1994. He bought Jaguar and soon after Minardi as well, which was going under. Kept all the jobs for those based in Faenza, he could very easily have moved it all under 1 umbrella in RBR. Lets not forget that he bought the A1 Ring, revamped it and brought F1 back as well. Is he an innovator like Enzo? No. But he's done a lot of great for the sport that shouldn't be swepped under the rug as just another sponsor...

Should Max Verstappen or Checo Perez be able to win the remaining 2 races, RedBull Racing will equal a 34 year old record set by Mclaren with 11 consecutive wins. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Helmut Marko just confirmed Daniel Ricciardo as a third driver at Red Bull to Sky Germany… There hasn’t been an official announcement yet… Welcome home Danny Ric!
This is very interesting.....if true. AMuS Talks in the paddock is that Honda will sign up [F1 2026] separately and not enter into a partnership with RB Powertrains, but instead develop a complete PU on their own and enter with a different team. "Helmut Marko recently hinted that there were other interested parties for a cooperation besides Honda. Now a clear favourite has apparently emerged. It is said to be Ford." RedBull - Ford????
If the Ford rumour is true, please let it be a sticker deal and let RB do everything...the last time Ford entered F1 was a lesson in "how to F everything up possible, and more".
According to aMuS, Red Bull has gained weight in the last few races after their lighter parts came to an end of life and resorted to using older, heavier parts that didn't see so many races. Red Bull beat Ferrari in qualifying for Abu Dhabi GP | AUTO MOTOR UND SPORT (auto-motor-und-sport.de)

Some will say that's the proof that Red Bull isn't dominating when they win championships (unlike Mercedes?).. But the car that won 18 races out of 22 was obviously superior in 2022.
Oops, Leclerc: 1) had 2 DNF's 2) pit wall strategies that messed him up several times over....including Sainz. 3) 2 driver errors IF it wasn't for all these mishaps with Leclerc, he would have been way ahead of Perez. Leclerc is way better than Perez on the track. I wouldn't put all the blame on Max for not helping Perez over the course of the season regarding Perez's performance. Perez just needs to up his game IMO.
100% Max had more wins than checo had podiums. Had Max let checo passed in Brazil, checo would still have lost out. Not sure what checo expected max to do in Mexico when there was a car in between them. USA 2 cars in between them Singapore RB essentially gifts Perez P1 after they told Max to abandon 2 quali laps, both of them a second quicker than anyone in the field Japan Max a league of 1, Perez overtakes Lec after Max has long passed the finish line. Italy Max a minute ahead prior to the last few laps SC Dutch GP P1 max P5 Perez Spa Max starts 14, Perez 2nd. Perez finishes P2, Max P1 in a league of 1...what did Perez expect then, to bolt a parachute to Max's car to make it fairer? Hungary Max and Perez start P10 and P11 respectively...Max P1 even after a spin, Perez P5. and on and on we can keep going. Fact of the matter is Perez either underperformed or Max overperformed. Short of risking a win in Abu Dhabi, what is there Max could've done to help secure checo an (utterly meaningless) P2 in the championship? There is no financial incentive to finish P2 or P3 in the drivers championship, unless the team have a personal bonus structure in place for that...and if that's the case, RB's claim for winning more races than anyone in a season before will be worth a lot more to them than "we also had P2 in the WDC". RB's PR machine will make a lot more money from the 15/22 wins claim than 14/22 and P2 in the WDC claim.
Red Bull is Verstappen-centric, nobody is asking Pérez to be on par, neither giving him the tools to do so. Must be noted that Barrichello or Bottas not always ended 2nd either.
Good for him, I hope this resets his head a bit, and that he has an opportunity to come back without anything to prove, a la KMag
I think the moment he finds himself in a car with a pointy front end again he'll be showing off what he can do yet again
He will sit at the bench waiting to called to drive a RB18...and just made $25 Millions ? Wow...thats why he smiles so much!
I would smile. On this planet currently someone needs to LOL. He got what he wanted. In this life 25 mil + desired job = SMILE!
