Interesting bit of news, Team Red Bull will officially be called Team Red Bull Ferrari in 2006. What's next, interchanging drivers?
That's a pretty clever move marketingwise. And I'm glad they didn't try to play any shenanigans with rebadging the engine. October 17 I will turn my Sauber "worship" into a Red Bull Ferrari worship.
Let us not forget Petronas might force Sauber to keep the Ferrari engines and we will end up with 3 Ferrari teams. Then it would be possible to have a Ferrari 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6!
Hey we may see Scott Speed at Ferrari in two years time. Wouldn't that be excellent to have an American driver on the Ferrari team.
Pardon my ignorance... can someone enlighten me as to what this Red Bull/Ferrari thing is about? Ferrari is going to supply Red Bull engines in '06? Will Red Bull run Bridgestones too?
Word is that RB will definately switch to Bridgestone to ease the testing duties from Ferrari and in return they will get discounted prices on the engine from Ferrari.
You know what... I find its great that they name it Red Bull Ferrari. Looking forward for next year...
If it's a Red Bull, shouldn't it have a Lamborghini engine? Is this the first time the Bull and the Horse have worked together?
Not exactly, in order for them to use the Lamborghini engines they will have to rename the team Mad Cow.
If this is true then I am very happy as 'Red Bull' is originally from Thailand and having our product associating with my beloved Ferrari, that makes me really proud. I like the sound of it 'Red Bull Ferrari'!
