    It doesn't matter who pays for the independent investigation, a barrister isn't going to risk his/her license/reputation by concluding falsehoods just because someone is paying them.

    someone has to pay them in the first place, they don't do this work for free. So you'll always get one of the parties to pay for it.

    My guess is that the parties will settle with NDAs all round, she’ll be a millionaire, tax free, and the whole thing will go away. A huge waste of time, money and reputation.

    I don't think that will satisfy those inside the Red Bull organisation who want to get rid of Christian Horner.
    They are probably the ones who initiated that charade in the first place!
    Horner's position is already less tenable after the exodus of important staff, and the team not performing as it should.
