Don't want spoilers, avoid car forums, social media, news, etc.. in fact, avoid the interwebz at all costs until you see the race.

Andrew, you should just not open any threads in F1 if it my jeopardise your viewing pleasure. I used to avoid looking but as I don't mind missing the broadcasts anymore it doesn't really bother me this year. In fact not watched China's race at all.

It seemed to me that IF Vettel had let Ricciardo by when told to, that would have given DR at least two more laps to start gaining on Fernando, so maybe he catches him and maybe not.

However, during the live race, once DR was past SB, and gaining on Fernando x amount per lap, (and ignoring the announcers hype of their relative position), yes, it did look like DR had a shot for a few laps, but then Fernando upped his pace a bit to maintain or widen the gap. My point is that it seemed like Ferrari and Fernando were keying on the gap behind, and when it was closing a bit he found those few more tenths per lap to keep Ricciardo at bay for 3rd place.

    I have a theory:

Vettel has already signed for Ferrari, Red Bull know and they are doing to him what they did to Webber for all those years to make of Ricciardo their new winner
