With all the banter recently about Bridgestone and lack of data, testing mileage, top teams etc, here's an interesting link that suggests Red Bull now with a contract for Ferrari engines may be 'swayed' over to Bridgestone.

Also there's a blurb about Williams being linked to a Ferrari engine deal should BMW decide to bail from Williams.

Anyone else read anything related to these rumors ?

    AWESOME!!!

Imagine if that happens, we're gonna have six Ferraris on the grid. How cool is that?! I doubt we're gonna be that lucky, but it'd be sweet.

Williams really will be stuffed if BMW drop them. I can understand Frank not wanting to sell his team, but he'll struggle to find a competitive engine to replace the BMW one. I am sure the Ferrari units won't be an option. Honda might be willing to move to a less tainted team than BAR so I guess there is a possibility there.

I heard that Williams was going to Cosworth if BMW bails.

Maybe Button should be trying to stay at BAR then, rather than jump to what will probably be a less competitive team.

Ya, I can't really see why Button would want to jump considering BAR's pace last year depsite this year's start and Williams seemingly stuck in the midfield.

With BMW on the fence with Williams and the strong possibility that Williams will need a new engine supplier, what would Button gain ? Especially since next years' Honda V8 has already turned laps.
