LONDON, England (AP) Red Bull Racing are vowing to turn around their recent form and end the season as strongly as they started it at super-quick Spa.
David Coulthard is looking to score points at his final Belgian GP to help turn around Red Bull's recent woes.

Going into Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix, the team are looking for their first top-eight finish in five races after a run of seven successive point finishes at the start of the year.

Recently they have fallen away from the fight with Toyota and Renault for fourth place in the constructors' championship and have found themselves trailing sister squad Toro Rosso during races.

Team boss Christian Horner is pinning his hopes on the sweeping nature of the Spa-Francorchamps track bringing the best out of the RB4.

"Apart from anything else, there are a lot more high speed corners than in Budapest or Valencia," he said.

"We had a good test in Monza and although that was aimed primarily at the Italian Grand Prix, the results of the test answered several fundamental questions about our package.

"We need to go [to Spa] and attack the weekend, we need both our drivers to be on top of their game, aiming to finish in the points.

"At the moment, the section of the grid that includes BMW, Renault, Toyota, ourselves, Williams and now, [Toro Rosso's] Sebastian Vettel, is extremely tight and, as we've seen at the last few races, one tenth of a second can make the difference between four grid positions."

The retiring David Coulthard has only scored points once, finishing third at Canada in June, with the bulk of the team's 24 points coming from Australian Mark Webber.

But the veteran Scot is determined to bow out on a high by helping the team end 2008 in fourth spot, starting at a track where he was victorious for McLaren nine years ago.

"[Fourth] was the target we set at the beginning of the year and just because things have gone badly over the past few races I don't believe we should lower our sights," Coulthard told itv-f1.com

"I think there's a lot of potential for large points swings over the remaining races. In Singapore we've got another street track where none of us know quite what to expect.

"And the weather can play a big role in Japan, China and Brazil -- so it's definitely still to play for in my view.

"I don't think anyone expected the balance of power among the midfield teams to fluctuate as much as it has, so it's difficult to predict what will happen over the last six races, but it is guaranteed to be very close."
