    Yup that's lame. No side mirror either, although I see many OTS without...was that an option?

    He's also missing the chrome bead between the front bumper and the headlight surround and the driver's door gaps look off (maybe it's the lighting)

    Up thru at least 1966 (my books are 400 miles away or I could give you the exact year) the E-Types were imported into the US without side mirrors and explains the variety of after market mirrors seen on the cars and accepted by JCNA. My 1966 had none and I never had the heart to take a drill to the car. I seldom would drive it top-up due to the poor visibility.

    I'm a little puzzled by the early Series I seats and the late Series I center console. Possibly correct for 1964, but again I don't have my books handy.

    That explains the squared off side mirror on my '66, where as others I've seen have the "bullet" style.

    Not a very high caliber restoration. Looks like lots of fresh paint without much attention to detail.
