If "Saw II" can gross 31 million dollars at the box office (At $10/ticket, that amounts to at least 3.1 million sick f*cks in this country), then anything is possible at the box office.

Saw 1 and 2 were great movies, 3 was not. Yeah they were a little sick...but still great movies.

I agree. I'm also in the range. But when I talk to the majority of my peers and their little brothers this movie is the most highly anticipated by a wide margin. It's also going to spawn misinformation among the majority of people who see it, much like The Fast and The Furious franchise. Also, go to a movie on a Saturday night, and listen to what most people ask for, it's amazing the amount of lowest common denominator drivel people pay good money to see.

I know that a Carrera Gt, at least one more ferrari, and a Diablo roadster is destroyed in the movie. I am sorry but I cannot support a movie that destroys such works of art.

For God sake by some damn replicas if you want to show a car crash!

If I did see the movie all I'd be able to think about is all the totaled cars.

The Diablo was a Replica, and from what I hear the Carrera GT had a salvage title, still no reason to wreck the Porsche though.

What I keep asking myself is why? Why does the movie portray exotic car owners as rich stuck up people that get orgasms off the sound of their own voice, when the truth is just the opposite? Why are the cars destroyed? Why is Eddie Griffen in the movie? Why is the movie trying to create some B.S. plot. Why is a Ferrari 599 or 612 destroyed while racing a murcielago Roadster through city streets. Why is an Enzo keeping up with a saleen s7 and a CCX?

I am tired of these so called car movies! I want to see a movie like Gumball where their is no crappy music drowning out the sounds of the raw engines that fans have paid their money to hear.

My idea for a movie is to keep it nice and simple. All the cars from Redline only no music, no C class actors, no plot, no talking. Just the cars some professional drivers plus a couple highways and tracks for good measure. Add those elements together plus crystal clear cameras and surround sound speakers and that movie would have car enthusaist literally breaking their legs to get inside the theaters!

The ONLY, REPEAT O-N-L-Y, time I've ever seen a Ferrari OWNER (not just a guy driving someone else's Ferrari - such as when the character is an undercover cop trying to pass off as a drug-king-pin) portrayed in a POSITIVE light, is the movie The Pursuit of "Happyness", with Will Smith.

BTW, I've seen tons of Ferraris in films.

Will's character fawns over a 3X8, and the owner of the car (a capitalist stock-broker) actually is portrayed, as such, as a great guy! I was floored that this was a Hollywood film! Over the years, Hollywood "conditioning" had me actually feeling guilty about actually admiring this guy and his car! Will's character then spends the whole movie trying to EMULATE the guy (becoming a stock-broker!) You read this correctly.

They didn't dare show the Will Smith character at the end owning his OWN Ferrari, however (but it was based on real life, and the guy probably didn't get one anyway.)

For instance in a recent Tim Allen movie Tim gets in some parallel dimension, and becomes rich, and a prick, and owns an F430. The "good" version of Tim does NOT own an Fcar...surprise!

Also, in "The Family Man", Nicholas Cage's (who has owned an Enzo, twice, in real-life, BTW) character is shown in two parallel dimensions. In one dimension he did the right thing: is middle-class, pursued true-love, has kids, and drives - gulp - a mini-van. In the other dimension he's rich, single with hot girlfriends, wears Armani, has no kids, makes his employees work on Christmas, and OF COURSE owns a Ferrari (550 Maranello.)

Actually, most Ferrari owners in films are law-breakers.

After watching so many movies, I was beginning to think that my local Ferrari dealer would have a questionnaire that I'd have to fill out before I could buy a new Ferrari. I'd have to answer "yes" to this question on the questionnaire:

Question #5: Are you any one of the following? [ ] Yes [ ] No
    1. A drug-king-pin?
    2. Rich (and therefore obviously a prick)?
    3. A non-socialist?
    4. A former felon?
    5. A CURRENT Ferrari owner (i.e. a prick)?

It's starting to tick me off.

How about a full-length feature film that's as good of quality, and basically styled after, that SHELL FERRARI COMMERCIAL that just came out recently!!

Think of the number of reposts that we would have of people who had just seen the movie. :(

Again, I absolutely LOVED the cars in the movie!

But when during the film you find yourself muttering to yourself under your breath "hmmm, I'm beginning to think this film would have been better if they'd cast Vin Diesel instead....." you know it's going to probably win many awards at the end of the year (the "Razzie" awards, that is.)

Is the producer now black-listed by Ferrari dealers, so he won't be able to buy a new Ferrari? :)
