Red Modena calipers paint.

Can anyone tell me what kind of red paint should I use to paint my brake calipers on my Modena F1. I assume it will be high temperature paint and where can I get it from? Is a spray-on type in a can?

Are you sure you want to do this yourself? If you are then just use nail polish

 

Its not that difficult to do, did it on my WRX last weekend.....

My local paint supplier said that regular engine paint (high temp) can be used for calipers. Anyone used that kind of paint for brakes?

Is it in a spray can? What kind did you use? Where did you get it from?

 

yep it came in a spray can, not sure of the exact name anymore but its was a high-temp resistant caliper paint.

I bought it at Super Cheap Auto, not sure what the equivalent is over there but any auto shop should have it.

 

...looks great. break calipers can make such a huge difference to the overall look of a car.
