I would do black. Red would be excessive!

Are you having a better time with the car now? I thought you might have given up on it.

    Hi Aidan,
Yeah, it was touch and go there for a while.
Stored over the winter so the painful memories seemd to fade away.

Got fluids changed, tuned up etc and the ol' V12 just started to call again.
Did about 200 miles over the weekend, mostly top down, so really fell in love again.

Don't get me wrong we're no happy ever after couple; still needs alot of tidying, but its getting there
I live in hope, the eternal optimist.

Thanks to everyone else who sent words of encouragement. To those who called me a fool, you're probably right...

    A 360 CS works in red/red as does a 308 GT4. These cars I don't think would. Can't go wrong with black.

Red w/ Red carpets and tan seats and doors and black dash and center console... YMMV!

there are many shades of red.want red, why no. try various shade combos. as carpets will play an important backround, bordello red is one of my favorite.

Red with blue is classic. Not sure how it would play on a 400 but perhaps worth imagining.

How about Porsche's bright and vibrant Can Can red leather and throw on some Gotti wheels....it will be "period correct" and "Amazing 80's" at the same time!

I had a rosso 328 with red interior. The leather was a shade darker than the exterior. Looked very nice. Now my 365 is silver and I put as bright a red as I could find. Good luck on the ponder ...then go for it it's yours do what you want.

    Thanks for the input everyone.

Kinda surprised that no-one said "NO WAY", thought Red on red might be way too much.

    Rick,
Any pics of your rosso 328?

    Cheers
