Looking to buy a red or blue 360 Modena with manual transmission. Any variation of red or blue is fine.

Shields and Daytonas a plus but not required.
Mileage does not matter, just a decent condition car.

Would prefer to spend around 60-70K. I am located in Massachusetts.

That car is overpriced? Maybe not too bad for a manual but about $5-10K too high...

I don't disagree, they posted the ad back in July which is I thought they might deal. I might be a player at $5-10K less if it was not the dark color. It has a lot of the right things (or so it seems).

The challenge wheels on that car is nice, and I do like the car in general, but at an 85K starting price, I don't think I am going to make that deal happen for what I'd need to get it for. If I am spending over my budget, I am going to get picky on the car, and that one wont do. Plus I'll need to budget 2K + in shipping afterwards too.

Nice 360s with manual transmissions are becoming difficult to find. Only about 10% of USA model 360s had them.

People are buying them, or keeping them, because:

1 - lower maintenance and repair costs

2 - hands on experience of the manual transmission

3 - pretty much the last manual transmission Ferraris built

As a result, manual transmission 360s are currently at least as expensive as F1 360s (remember, the F1 was a $10K option).

I agree that the car for $85K with 30K+ miles at CNC seems overpriced. But it may be an omen of the future.

I think the 10% of cars were manual transmission applies to the F430, not the 360 IIRC.

Are you sure the 360 was the last model available with a manual transmission?

As did 575s, 599s, 612s, and Californias. I'm guessing the 355 was the last model that had the majority built with 6MT transmissions. Sound right?

My 360 was a manual my 430 was not. I think the reason was I could not get a manual with the 430. I am not sure tho. I sure miss the three pedal cars.

I have a 360 manual and love it. As I understand about 30% of 360's were manual and about 15% of 430's.

550 was probably the last, as it only came with a manual.

Your car is wonderful, I just don't think I can afford that price, and then shipping from Texas to me is another couple grand.

After some research - on this site - it seems that about 30% (a bit less) of the 360 coupes were manual transmission.

This is a greater % than I beleived.

However, my understanding is that most of the F1s were destined for the US and that most of the manuals were shipped and sold in other than US. This seems logical to me.

Therefore, I would estimate that 20% of the US 360 coupes were manual transmission cars. That would work out to about 1,700 cars.

    ...I must do so.

    Corrected numbers:

Total production of 390 coupes: less than 9,000

    Total USA cars: about 3,000

Total USA coupes (at 20% of USA production): 600

Really - not a whole lot.
