I'm no Aero Engineer, but I can assure you that is NOT a real lawnmower. There's no way that little prop could generate enough lift to get that thing off the ground. It's damn funny though.

Yeah, it looks like one of those toy lawnmowers... but still, it's impossible to tell where the control surfaces (rudder, elevators, alierons) are located! Very cool. :)

Err, you can see the elevators (IIRC)all the time, they're right at the back of the "lawn mower" and its easiest to make them out when he does the touch-n-go and the landing.

I can't find the rudder though.

    That thing is hilariously funny.

As an RC plane builder and flier, the whole thing is made of balsa and has a v-tail type split elevator/aileron setup behind the rear wheels. My supercharged YS 110 coupdnt pull a real lawn mower, but would shred that thing in a minute.

I always liked the Snoopy on the flying doghouse version myself.

HAHA...that looks really nice...wierd seeing what people are modding now...before i've seen a pc being modded into an r/c car body...

i dont know anything about those r/c airplanes but i have few of the r/c cars...both nitro and electric...haven't played with them for a while...kind of lost interest in them i guess.

I've been an avid R/C modeler for about 10 years. I've seen lawnmowers, pizza boxes, wooden pizzas, snoopy's doghouse (complete with snoopy sitting on top), witches on broomsticks, and probably more. the control surfaces on the mower are on the back, between the rear wheels. anything will fly with enough power. most of the stuff flies horrible, it's just a novelty.
