    Easterns has partnered with the Washington Redskins to bring you
    Redskins Rides. This event is taking place AUGUST 10TH 2008 at the

    Redskins Rides. This event is taking place AUGUST 10TH 2008 at the
    Washington Redskins Park, 21300 Redskins Park Dr. Ashburn, VA 20147.
    Come out and meet some of the Washington Redskins, take pictures, get
    autographs, and see their rides!

    There will be food, a huge moonbounce for the children, live radio
    broadcast, live band and DJ, some of the coolest cars on display, and
    the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders!

    With every ticket purchased your name will be entered in several
    raffles to win all types of Prizes!! Some include FREE GARMIN
    NAVIGATION UNITS, FREE NFL FOOTBALLS courtesy of Wilson, FREE A
    DETAIL courtesy of Ziebart in Fairfax (703) 591-0900, and
    much more to come!

    There will be also be a raffle to win a mint condition classic
    Mercedes Benz SL. This is the same model featured in the movie Casino
    driven by Sharon Stone.

    All proceeds will be donated to Charity. Easterns cares about the community.


    F-Chat Crew, my company has teamed up with the producers of this meet to be one of the sponsors the car show!! We will have a booth set up to promote and we will get reduced admission off of the current $50.00 vehicle entry fee. If we show with 20 cars its reduced to $30.00, 15 cars its reduced to $35.00 and 10 cars its reduced to $40.00
    The entry fee gets you 2 Admission Tickets and 1 Mercedes Benz SL Raffle Ticket. Each admission ticket is a raffle for a chance to win some prizes !!! All proceeds go to Charity.
    If you are interested please post here as I need to regiseter all cars by Wednesday. It would be great to have some Ferraris added to our list of attendees!!

    I went to this event last year. If you are a Redskin's fan (I am not) it pretty cool. There is a cadre of players that have some pretty tricked out cars. James Brown usually will show up in one of his sick camaros or something. It seemed like a pretty relaxed atmosphere to get an autograph or 2 if you are in to that sort of stuff. Plus the cheerleaders are all over the place.

    I had my friend's vette and upon leaving, the Indian dude tried to race me. He was on his scooter.

    Easterns.....dont get me started on how they treat their community selling frame damaged cars at near 30% interest rates! :) Besides that, Im glad they can give what they steal back to community.

    my buddy is bringing his lambo and f430.

    I bought 2 cars from Easterns - never had any problems. - detail guy sounds like a hater.

    A few people on FChat have had problems with Eastern and the guy that owns it. Do a search and you'll find quite a few threads.

    Dont get me wrong, Im all for charity events for good causes, but everytime I hear the name Easterns it flashes me back to Business Ethics class in College :)

    Update-We have 15 cars so far so the admission cost is reduced from $50.00 to $35.00, if we reach 20 total entries it drops again to 30.00 per car. This event is from 12pm-7pm at

    Could you help me understand how this event is working?

    1. Is this a Redskins event sponsored by Easterns or an Easterns event that is paying the Redskins for the privilege?

    2. What is the info on the MB sl raffle? The website provides no information.

    3. Why when they want exotics to attend to draw attendance higher are they charging a car fee? There is no car contest, correct?

    4. As a charity event, do all the proceeds go to charity? (which)

    1. As I understand it its a "CO-Charity-Event" with both parties equally involved
    2. Other then its the same model from the movie Casino, I dont know which model specifically, I will try to find out for you

    So far the only info I have is that its a 1982 model year.

    Other details, for those not showing their cars general admission is $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids. Food will be at a reduced rate as well as free t-shirts and a basketball competition. I have a cut-off of this Wed. for anyone showing.

    I have seen first hand what your referring to...Girl down this way bought a GREAT car according to them, no accidents, etc... She wrecked it a few weeks later due to no fault of her own and I saw the damage to the car. AND I saw the obvious repairs that had been made from the previous crash that she had no idea about... Maybe Easterns had no idea the car had been wrecked prior to them getting it, but I find that hard to believe,...
