Redye - grain dissapears?

    I've use the product and after cleaning and softening I used a brush, a sponge and airbrush. They all work well as long as you don't apply it too thick and the grain will not be covered up. You can also get the finish in different degrees of flat to gloss. I prefer the dull finish which to me looks more like natural leather. I've also matched original color leather that was in good condition with the dye and matched other new leather, so the whole interior was an exact color match throughout.

    I finally managed to obtain an original spec 3171 color sample. Color Plus made a perfect match, see below photo of the original sample on the redyed rear seat (from black to red):

    Yes I have, with ColorPlus and their brush. And no, the grain is still all present.
