I just did my AC panel and it turned out fine but what a pain in the arse. Next time, off to Robbie. His turns out better anyway. Robbie... trust me, lesson learned.
His work is the best - I should have gone with stickynomore.com as well.... World class refinishing at incredible prices...
There have been a number of posts on this subject with some very good narrative description on how to remove the three separate panels. However, there haven't been to my knowledge a good set of photos showing all the various tabs that need to be compressed for each individual vent removal. Here are a pair of photos that should help clarify where and how many tabs are on each vent. I personally found the driver's side vent, not unlike the center vent, required a number of tabs to be depressed simultaneously in order for it to be removed. Hope these can help someone in the future. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very helpful post for those that have not done this job yet - good one! Hey Robbie, if you see this it might be kinda cool to have a 'how-to' page on your website so guys can get these out and off to you in one piece...
Can guarantee if my 575M panels ever give problems, they go to Robbie without a second thought. His work is better by far than factory original. Robbie- How about figuring out how to do carbon fiber, as well? That will boost your bottom line. Taz Terry Phillips
I do--- http://www.stickynomore.com/Removal_How-To.html Updating vids as I go along..... Just hard to do for other models when I only have the 355....
