The wheels on my car came with some missing "stick on" wheel weights; only the adhesive remained. My OCD wouldn't allow me to just leave it...had to remove it. However, in that process, I inadvertently removed some wheel paint. Argghh!

How do i save the "Campagnolo" labels? Can the defaced areas be "blended", or does the wheel need repainting? I just wasn't thinking when i used "Goof Off" and a ScotchBrite pad. Pix attached. thanx steve "the moron" meltzer

The 'labels' in your photo are not original and are available from Superformance. Originally the writing was an ink transfer on the wheel and it would not have the little border visible on yours. I would not worry about trying to blend the paint and would just have all 4 wheels re-finished. Costly yes but a nice freshening up will do wonders to how the car looks. Going down the rabbit hole I would also suggest a new set of Hill Engineering wheel bolts. Essentially indistinguishable from original they cost less than the price of having your OEM wheel bolts re-chromed correctly.

Look for the thread where #22641 was restored in the NW.....he after having the wheels painted, produced a STENCIL to airbrush the lettering on,, and it was not noticable as diffferent from the original silk screened logo

I ;m sure he could point you towards his vendor.

User name is articlighting, who purchased one of my cars.

I have a question about "speedline" rims made in Italy... So my understanding they supplied rims to Ferrari... did they produce 16 inch rims for the QV's too or just earlier 308 14 metric rims?

IMO Speedline was the third and final vendor to the 308/328, so I've never seen 14"s by the brand.
