Guys, i'm planning to start taking Regain Hair Tonic (2%) next week. So far, i haven't read anywhere about side effects, but i did hear from various people about the side effects of this product. Anyone tried this before? I've always thought it was Propecia is the one with side effects. Any views? thanks in advance!

Just if you quit using it then your hair starts falling out again. That's what they say apparently. Don't use the stuff personally.

    Its actually "Rogaine".

Topical treatment has virtually no side effects despite which chicken-little internet idiots might say.

    Women should not use it.

It typically is not as effective as oral Propecia.

addendum: My error, there is also a preperation called "Regaine" as well.

Don't the "remix" versions of Rogaine (such as Regaine) simply dilute the actual active
ingredient, Rogaine, and add a bunch of herbal nonsense and then charge twice as
much as what a legitimate treatment of Rogaine would cost?

What do u mean mate? I started losing hair when i was 21. I've been keeping the smooth bald look for 1 1/2 years now. I'm 25 this year, and started growing out my hair again now. It's still jet black, think at the front, sides and back. It's the only normal male balding pattern style at the back on my head is pretty obvious. There's still hair growing all over, but not as thick as the rest.

So, i'm opting to try out Regaine, 2%, and see the results. I've a friend in the 40s, taking regain, and no issues for him. His head is full of hair.

You know, it won't work on shiny, hairless skin.

It can work on skin that still has short, fine hair.

Oh...No worries then. I haven't shaved in about 2 weeks now. Hair is less 2-3 cm long now :D
