Need some help with correct mounting of the relay board. My 83 Euro QV's relay board is not attached to the dash frame. Looking at some pictures in other threads it appears that it should hang on three standoffs. My wiring bundle also looks like it would interfere with installing standoffs. Note in the picture there are no holes where standoffs might have previously been attached. Thoughts - advice.

If it helps any here's a photo of mine from a US 78. Your wiring bundle should be lower by the looks of things. Maybe Euros/QVs were different?

Replies help a lot.......thanks. Now that I know what it looks like I can fabricate one. Suspect it was a casualty of the "federalization" as they added a seat belt light in the fuse/relay cover. It protrudes into relay board space. My guess is they measured badly and compensated by just letting the cover hold up the relay board.
