    Anyone know what is the correct plug in relay for this is as my car never had the original in place. This holder sits in the middle under the dash?

    How many pins/sockets does it have, Simon? Any wire colours we can go by? Do you know your car's assembly number ... and is it a UK RHD drive car?

    I am not at home at present so cannot see the wiring in the relay. It looks like a standard five pin relay that you get on the standard fuse board in the foot well. I have tried a number of relays switched and un switched without success.

    If I knew what the relay holder actually did, I could probably work out what relay was required. It is not shown in the standard WSM or on any dealer websites.

    The car's right-hand drive and the relay holder is to the right of the centre console.

    If it's 5 pin, it could be the acoustic repeater (for the turn signals) on car assembly numbers before 24038. 4 wires... black, blue, red-green and blue-black.

    Have you eliminated things like the brake warning light controller (8 pin)? Your car shouldn't be fitted with the USA/CAN/JAP Seat Belt/Brakes/Door Buzzer.

    Yes I have eliminated this. I don't think it is the acoustic repeater as it has 5 wires.

    I finally got the chance to check my '98 spider. It looks like the roof buzzer, although why it has 4 or 5 wires on it, I'm not sure. I had a quick look at the wiring, and there appears to be 2 white wires, 1 pink, one brown and one black (I didn't use a mirror to check for hidden stripes on the wires).

    Google "ferrari 355 12v 537 segnalatore acustico" and you should see a picture of it. You may need a bolt to mount the module on the crossbeam.

    P.S. I'm not 100% sure my car has the original part. I'm also getting hits with Google for "536" (instead of "537").

    (EDIT: The 536 has two pins. This makes sense if it's only a buzzer, but my car has 5 wires)

    These colours are remarkably similar to the WSM wiring diagram colours for the Brakes Warning Light module on non-USA/CND/JAP cars (Ferrari P/N 137667 ), so most likely it's not the roof buzzer.

    Also, this link shows P/N 137667 and "537" in the same FerrParts eBay advertisement
