I haven't taken the plunge yet but am thinking of a 355, possibly spyder. Does Ferrari of Denver have reliable service? That is, are they very good at spotting problems and fixing them? Do they have fair and reasonable pricing for repairs? Do they have good customer service skills? Would you bring in a car for a PPI there?

If not, where in Denver would you go to get your car fixed?

I used them for three years until i moved and was very happy with them. They did my 328 service, and I bought a used BMW from them. Nice people, good service, warm atmosphere One thing I noticed was that they treat your car well, when it is in the shop, test driving it, taking it in and out of the shop. Always offered to wash the car during service. I still order parts from them and call with questions. All of the techs are very friendly and will explain anything you want.

You should go by the shop and meet the people; Jeff in service, Bill in sales, and Mr. Stewart, the owner. And they can be bribed with Krispy Kreme donuts.

Another option is Dave Helms in Boulder. Dave is a great guy, awesome shop, and very nice. He was a little too far for me when I was in C. Springs.

FOD has been real good with my car. Every experience i have had with them has been top notch.

I have met Dave Helms but have not had a chance to have my car worked on by him. (A little too far for me as well.) I have only heard good thing about him though.

Good luck with your purchase. As far as service in the area, I have stopped by to visit Dave Helms in Boulder and he really knows his stuff. You will see on this site that he has an outstanding reputation. I would just stop by and say hello and then you will understand. He let me stop and see all the beautys for a year before I bought my car - and would always put down the wrench to say hello. I haven't needed his services yet but I will head that way when I do.

I have had very good experiences with FoD. Jeff was fair and honest, and kept me informed during the repairs I had done with e-mail and phone calls. The folks there were concerned with getting my car right.
I have met Dave Helms years ago, and have heard nothing but good things of his shop. Hopefully I will never have huge repairs to make again, but if I do, I'll probably be giving him a call. Good luck! -m

    Dave Helms.

Worth going out of the way for. Whats a few extra miles when real, quality craftsmanship is available? It is rare in anything these days and should be taken advantage of when available.

Bingo. Dave did work on my 355 and is fantastic. The car ran noticably better after a major. Sounds crazy but one of the main reasons I'd own a Ferrari is that the service is available from a true craftsmen like Dave and his crew.
