    Well.... its running.
    Tasks completed to date
    Engine pressure test - good
    Engine re timed
New plugs, ht leads distributor rotors
Rad flushed and coolant system hoses replaced throughout
    New thermostat
    New handbrake cable
Refurbished brakes throughout new pistons and seals in the calipers
    And she purrs...
Interior is the next project - the seats need a good clean the carpets replacing and the door carding replaced.
The unusual booting will stay until market values increase to make it worth doing or until the next re spray is required...

No matter what mods have been done to the outward appearance the car is still a Ferrari! When you're sitting in the drivers seat listening to those 6 carbs and 4 exhaust pipes it doesn't really matter if the truck has been changed or new grill put on etc.

    Absolutely.
Roll on the summer and the opportunity to stretch it's legs for the first time since 89!

Nice! I wouldn't worry about the modified body work. The appearance, from your picture, doesn't look out of proportion. I would only change, it like you said, when it needs cosmetic restoration of the exterior. That gives you time to source any parts that would be needed and research a competent body shop. Or maybe paint work is something you do yourself? Nothing more satisfying than a job well done.
At this point you are already there. Congrats!

Not quite there. I want to refresh the interior - the seats are need a deep clean at best and re upholstering preferably and the drives side door carding is shot too. I'm aiming to have the interior up to scratch for this time next year.
