Toys R US Veterans, Metairie, LA

1:00PM
Children's Hospital; We will be calling ahead to make sure kids are outside when we arrive so they can see the cars drive up. When we arrive Kids will be able to except gifts and take pictures with the cars in the front of the hospital. If there are any toys left we can then give them to Children's Hospital Staff for them to distribute. See below.

2:00PM
Lunch; Ponchartrain Point at West End. We will have our own private room.

At this time have about 10+ cars coming.

Children's Hospital guidelines for giving:
Holidays, Toys, Children and You!!!

Children who are hospitalized need toys for play year-round, and especially at the holidays.
Toys Donated by the community and friends keep the playrooms supplied and help make special celebrations possible.
Santa visits the bedside of each child on Christmas morning. Hospital staff spends several weeks before Christmas carefully selecting personalized gifts for the children. Community friends can help by the following guidelines.

Popular Favorites for All Ages

Infants: Crib Mobiles, Music Boxes, Rattles, Cradle Gyms, Infant Mirrors, Fisher price toys.

Toddlers: Push.Pull Talking Toys, Wooden Puzzles, Musical Toys, Fisher Price Toys, Dolls, Non Toxic Play Doh

School Age: Board Games, Puzzles no larger than 100 pieces, Books, Etch-a-Sketch, Crayola Crayons, Activity books.

Adolescents: Playing cards, Puzzle books, Advanced Craft and paint supplies, battery power games.

All toys must be brand new and still in the boxes.
