As I peruse pics I took when I was in Europe for a month in 2016, I have NO idea what most of the landmarks are, cathedrals are, roads are, even small cities - - Because I didn't take pictures of SIGNS! Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Romania, I don't know where 90% of my pics are from (specific landmark-wise) aside from what country - based on the date-stamp. Be sure to click a pic of any sign, because in 10-20 years, depending on how many places you went, you won't remember what you are looking at. You may think you will but you might not... If this doesn't apply to you, fine, scroll on by...
Not everyone is that savvy, nor do they have the time to try and do an 'image search' to match up pics, but beyond that, this isn't the discussion for that, all I merely suggested was 'snap a pic'
Our iPhones default to capturing the GPS location of each photo we take, stored under "Information" for each photo - so that's a huge help.. and you can switch too a "Map Mode" which shows you a map of all your iPhone photos.. you can look them up by location.. Some are not that savvy, some don't have iPhones, some have location services set to off, some have flip phones, and some don't take phones with them. Rare, but it happens. Beyond all that, I meant taking pictures with REAL cameras, not cell phones.
